Honors Program for Academically Gifted
Students who are identified as Academically Gifted (AIG) and students with qualifying test scores and report cards will be placed in the Mallard Creek STEM Academy Honors Program. This program will provide a deeper level of instruction in each core subject, at an accelerated pace, and with additional opportunities to explore their subjects.
Students with excellent work habits, high levels of curiosity, who are highly motivated and who have the willingness to work in a rigorous setting will be most successful. This is a competitive program which will require a teacher recommendation. Students transferring from outside of Mallard Creek STEM Academy must provide transcripts or report cards and state assessment scores
as well as any outside academic evaluations.
Students will qualify to participate in the National Junior Honor Society and will receive High School Recommendations.
